Madhuri Meheta picked for Women T20 World Cup

Odisha opening batsman Madhuri Meheta has been included in the 14-member Indian team for the ICC Women`s Twenty20 World Cup starting in Bangladesh on March 23.
Mithali Raj will lead the India in the World Cup as well as in the three-match T20 series, prior to the World Cup, against hosts Bangladesh from March 9 with middle-order batsman Harmanpreet Kaur as vice-captain.
India will take on Sri Lanka in their first match of the World Cup on March 24 at Sylhet. Other teams in India`s pool include last edition runners-up England, hosts Bangladesh and West Indies.
